There
are many types of talcs. The name "talc" does not describes the
diversity of this mineral in nature. On one hand the talc is a pure
magnesium silicate and on the other hand it is a common name for rocks
containing more minerals. Pure talc has the following chemical
formula: Mg3[Si4O10(OH)2]. Theoretical chemical analysis has the
following values:

MgO 31,7%
H2O 4,8%
