WHO ARE WE?
KOLTEX company is engaged in
manufacture , wholesale and retail distribution of metallurgical
materials and briquettes, abrasives, refractories, titanium dioxide,
various types of talc, color pigments and fillers. We provide
comprehensive services that are associated with a comprehensive
evaluation of customer requirements under it´s order, the
optimal setting of production and distribution preocesses together with
adequate satisfaction of individual customer requirements.

NEWS
In the near future we plan to complete the reconstruction operation in
Benátky nad Jizerou. This reconstruction is already in
phase of the project. Already at this stage there may be noted that
this reconstruction is ecologically significant and focused in
the sense of using renewable energiy for production in the new
processes.
COMPANY HISTORY
• KOLTEX company was found in 1990. Form the beginning the seat of administrative and operational components is situated in Mnichovo Hradiště.
• 1990 – 1996 Since the start our company was focused on
international transport and wholesale of pigments, metallurgy and
abrasive materials.
• 1996 In that year the share of compny KOLTEX activities
significantly shifted to the manufacturing processes of metallurgical
materials. This was to strengthen the possibilities of meeting the
requirements of customers, not only in Czech Republic but also in whole
Europe and elsewhere.
• 2000 In that year the company transformed itself into society
KOLTEX COLOR, s.r.o., the form which it has till today.

2002 In that year there was bought a plant to produce Silicon Carbide
and White Fused Alumina ( Corundum White ) in near Benátky nad
Jizerou.
• 2003 With a connection of the great expansion of production capacity
there was found a new company KORUND BENÁTKY, s.r.o. in this
year ( www.korund.cz ).This company took over a part of the
production programme. Both companies are in constant close contact and
thereby helps to the stisfaction of customer´s
requirements.

2004 The company KOLTEX COLOR, s.r.o was certified as a company
operating under a quality management system according to the
standards ISO 9001:2001.
• 2005-2010 Until now, the company KOLTEX COLOR, s.r.o holds a
very good position on the international and domestic
metallurgical and abrasives markets, and despite the prevailing
global economic crisis.
